Rummage Rescuers Electric Blanket Project 2024 Onwards

Rummage Rescuers have been granted funds to purchase NEW electric blankets. This is an exchange scheme, local people bring their own electric blanket and exchange for a new one. The aim of this project is to reduce local house fires by ensuring old type electric blankets are discarded and replaced with a new one. These are much safer and meet the H&S regulations needed in 2025 and beyond. These are vital services which require local community and businesses to come together to address local needs.
